Elon Musk made a brief statement about OpenAI’s new video creation AI tool Sora. Implying that high-level videos can be produced with artificial intelligence, Musk said that this could also be a danger to humanity.
Elon Musk talk briefly about OpenAI Sora
OpenAI introduced Sora the other day, which can create video content based on text descriptions. Sora demonstrated its capabilities with short videos, such as a woman walking in Tokyo or a mammoth walking in the snow.
One Twitter user shared one of the videos created by Sora and wrote “gg Pixar” and said that animation companies would be in danger. Elon Musk responded to this post with “gg people” in his comment.
In addition, Musk’s ex-wife Grimes commented on the movie industry’s reaction to artificial intelligence. She said that productive art cannot hinder the human spirit with artificial intelligence. However, she expressed concern about the advancement of these technologies.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, said, “AI-empowered humans will produce the best work for the next few years.”
Many users agree that the collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence can yield important results. But there are also growing concerns that AI could eventually acquire dangerous capabilities on its own.
